We had an absolutely wonderful experience in Luxor, and a huge part of it was thanks to our guide, Mona Lisa. She is truly a walking encyclopedia, incredibly knowledgeable, yet warm, friendly, and easy to connect with. Every explanation felt alive, not rehearsed. On top of that, she is an excellent photographer and helped us capture beautiful memories throughout the day. She was always attentive, supportive, and ready to help with anything we needed. It also happened to be my birthday, and she went above and beyond by surprising me with a thoughtful gift, a gesture I will never forget. We visited extraordinary places, and each site was presented in a fascinating, engaging way that made the experience unforgettable. Honestly, I don’t think a better guide exists. A trip that is absolutely worth taking – not only because of the places we visited, such as the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Habu Temple, all of which were incredibly fascinating. But especially because our guide made it truly exciting. He had an amazing amount of knowledge and great enthusiasm for the places we visited. We had lunch by the Nile at a really lovely restaurant. In the evening, we were driven to our hotel, and to our great surprise it wasn’t a four-star hotel, but a five-star one. Beautiful surroundings – the hotel is surrounded by the Nile, with a lovely pool and much more. So in the end, getting up early was absolutely worth it.
